“1, 2, 3 …CODE!” : A Training Workshop on Computer Science Education 1 – 5 July 2019, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

International Science, Technology and Innovation Centre for South-South cooperation under the auspices of UNESCO (ISTIC), in collaboration with the Foundation La main à la pâte will organize a training programme which will be held on 1 – 5 July 2019 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The main objective of the training workshop is to provide the necessary knowledge and skills to participants on computer science through ‘unplugged’ and ‘plugged' activities and apply these into pedagogical activities.
The candidate should be teacher trainers, curriculum developers or educational technologists responsible for computer education and developers of related resource materials and also must have basic computer skills. The candidate must strictly attend the five-day programme as scheduled.

Accommodation will be provided by ISTIC from 30th June to 6th July 2019. Participants are expected to obtain travel grants from their organisation. The accommodation and venue of the Training Workshop will be at Seri Pacific Hotel, Jalan Putra, 50350 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
