ECOSF President visits the ECO Cultural Institute, Tehran

TEHRAN (February 24, 2014): Prof. Dr. Manzoor Hussain Soomro, the President ECO Science Foundation (ECOSF) made a visit to ECO Cultural Institute (ECI), at Tehran, Islamic Republic of Iran. He was warmly welcomed by the President ECI Mr. Iftikhar Hussain Arif, a renowned writer and intellectual.

During the visit, both the Presidents briefed each other about the various ongoing and future plans of their organizations and shared mutual interests to collaborate for the benefits of ECO region as has also been advised the ECO's Regional Planning Council (RPC) during its meeting held in Tehran during 24-26 Feb 2014. Both team leaders agreed to jointly organize various activities by also involving the ECO Educational Institute, Ankara- Turkey, another Specialized Agency of the ECO.

The President ECOSF presented a book on Sufism to his counterpart H.E. Mr. Iftikhar Arif. Mr. Arif also presented a gift of books to Prof. Manzoor H. Soomro.
