ECOSF in Partnership with the SDG Academy Pakistan organized the Training Programme on Harmony for Youth Progress

The ECO Science Foundation in collaboration with the SDG Academy Pakistan and other esteemed partners, successfully organized the 'Training Programme on Harmony for Youth Progress: A Journey into Sustainable Development & COP28 Insights' in Islamabad, Pakistan. The event was held from January 22 to January 26, 2024 and aimed to enhance the capabilities of a diverse cohort comprising 50-60 young professionals.
The training program covered various themes including good governance, sports, sustainability, disaster risk reduction, and climate education. The comprehensive workshop provided participants with insights into achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), allowing them to gain expertise in diverse areas crucial for fostering sustainable development.
Prof. Seyed Komail Tayebi, President of ECOSF participated as the Chief Guest in the inaugural. Prof. Tayebi commended the dynamic team of SDG Academy and expressed gratitude for the valuable partnership. He emphasized the importance of providing the youth with the right opportunities and building their capacity to address both local and global challenges.
Mr. Amar Jafari, Chairman of SDG Academy highlighted the significance of understanding the Sustainable Development Goals. He emphasized that the multifaceted challenges facing the world cannot be addressed by individuals, organizations, or countries alone. Thus, collaboration and cooperation were identified as the key factors essential for achieving the intended goals.
On January 25, 2024, Mr. Khalil Raza, Programme Manager, Energy and Climate at ECOSF, led an engaging and interactive session focusing on climate and education. The session highlighted strategies for climate mitigation and adaptation, providing participants with valuable insights into addressing environmental challenges. On the conclusion of the training program, President ECOSF Prof. Tayebi awarded the certificates to the participants.
