Management of Technology - 5th International and 9th National Conference by the Iranian Association for Management of Technology (IRAMOT), Tehran- Iran

The 5th International and 9th National conference on "Management of Technology" was was organized by the Iranian Association for Management of Technology (IRAMOT) at the IRIB Int'l Conference Centre (IICC), Tehran on Dec 16-17. Theme of the conference was, "Learning and Technological Innovation in large Enterprises and Networks". President ECO Science Foundation participated as a special invitee.

The conference began with a welcome note by the Chairman of IRAMOT, Dr. Manouchehr Manteghi. IRAMOT's Scientific Committee Chairman, Dr. Mohammadreza Arasti also gave a keynote address. Further talks and panel discussions were held by well renowned names in technological innovation arond the developed world and Iran.

President ECO Science Foundation also participated in the conference as a special invitee. He had good networking and interaction with other scientific community engaged in S&T based entrepreneurship, particularly with the Chairman of IRAMOT, the Head of IRAMOT Steering Council Syed H. Tabatabaeian and the Member of the Board of IRAMOT Syed Kamal Tabaian, as well as with Mr. Ali Morteza Birang the Deputy of International Affairs and Technology Exchange at the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology of Iran. Participation of Dr. Soomro in this conference was strategically important for further collaboration, cooperation and networking of the Foundation with not only the scientific institutions and innovative research centres but also with the business people.
