President ECOSF Prof. Dr. Manzoor H. Soomro visited the International University of Innovation Technologies (IntUIT) in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic

President ECOSF Prof. Dr. Manzoor Hussain Soomro while being in Kyrgyz Republic visited the International University of Innovation Technologies (IntUIT) in Bishkek on the invitation of Rector Professor Dr. Ulugbek T. BEGALIEV, on 7 Oct 2015. The Rector Prof. Begaliev enthusiastically welcomed Prof. Soomro and showed him around various facilities and laboratories of the university. The university is in private sector and under the patronage Academician of National Academy of Sciences and former Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mr. Jumaliev. It has processing plants in recycling of various waste materials; from which various products are being produced on commercial basis and students are trained in those innovative technologies. It is one great live form of Science, Innovation and Technology. President ECOSF sought various possibilities of collaboration with the esteemed university [www.intuit.kg] in whole ECO Region, under the auspices of ECO Science Foundation.

Dr. Soomro also had an opportunity to meet Academician Jumaliev and discuss with him and the Rector the possible collaboration of the university with institutions in other ECO member countries. H.E. Mr. Jumaliev has again been elected as member of the Kyrgyz Parliament during the elections held on 4 Oct 2015. Thus President ECOSF also discussed with him the process of ratification of ECOSF Charter and its Additional Protocol by the Parliament of Kyrgyz Republic; to which Academician assured to support. Subsequently Dr. Soomro spoke to the faculty of the University and gave brief introduction of ECOSF and answered their questions. The Rector Professor Dr. Ulugbek T. BEGALIEV was very much pleased to meet President ECOSF and assured his full cooperation and support in promotion of STI in ECO Region.
